Starting our farewell to 2023, we would like to take this opportunity to thank each of our valued clients for your continued support. Beyond the financial aspect of our industry, including celebrating the growing market recovery and ending of the inflationary cycle,the holiday season is an opportunity to reflect and be thankful for the loved ones closest to us.
In keeping with our yearly tradition, we like to keep everyone updated on our endeavors and upcoming plans to better serve our clients in 2024.
Continuing education, this year Cliff Steele, Mario Mota, and Mark Wiesel obtained their (CIM) Chartered Investment Manager and (FCSI) The Fellow of CSI designations. Additionally, Neel Aggarwal and Mario Mota completed their (CEA) Certified Executor Advisor designation. Kate O'Neill obtained her Qualified Associate Financial Planner (QAFP) designation. Kelsey Fullerton completed the Canadian Investment Funds Course and Patrick O'Rourke completed the Canadian Securities Course. Obtaining these courses and designations will ensure we continue to refresh our collective knowledge of complex financial plans.
2023 continued our strong tradition of community involvement. From sponsoring local community teams such as The Cambridge Red Hawks and Rivulettes Junior Hockey, to local community events like The Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest, Cambridge Santa Clause Parade, Cambridge Foodbank, and The Cambridge Chamber of Commerce. We are proud to see our involvement grow and continue to give back locally to make a positive impact on our community.
This year brought the addition of Maria Smith as our client services specilist. We also had the pleasure of assisting Mariya Patel and Victoria Faucher as interns at The Steele Group. We wish them luck as they progress in their education and hope the skills and experiences they’ve gained here are valuable assets that will undoubtedly serve them well in their future careers.
Given the holiday theme, we wanted to once again congratulate the 2023 Cambridge Santa Clause Parade winners. Elements Dance Arts (Best Overall Float), Vista Hills Percussion (Best Band), MacDonald Steel Limited (Best Commercial), and Community Living Cambridge (Best Community).
