Making a Difference Together: Supporting RMHC Hamilton and Local Families

This past year, our team matched the donations of our clients towards the local Ronald McDonald House (RMHC) in Hamilton. This location provides a comforting "home away from home" for families with seriously ill children receiving medical care. By offering a place to stay close to the hospital—along with meals, laundry facilities, and emotional support—the House helps reduce the stress and financial burden families face during a difficult time.

Sponsoring a room at Ronald McDonald House was a meaningful way to make a direct impact. Our sponsorship helped cover the costs of maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming space for families. It ensures they can focus on what matters most—being close to their child—without worrying about where they’ll sleep or how they’ll afford it.

In March, the team at RMHC informed us that nearly 40% of the families they care for come from the Region of Waterloo and Guelph. They shared a touching video of a local family, highlighting how our donation helped make their stay at RMHC possible.
